Elevated in rank to Associate Professor at the University of Pretoria’s Graduate School of Technology Management (GSTM), Prof Schalk Grobbelaar brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology.

With a PhD in Engineering Management and industry experience as Group Engineer at York Timbers, Dr Grobbelaar leads efforts in advancing timber construction in South Africa and the promotion of structural wood products within sustainable built environments.
