Message for iPhone and iPad users
Creamer Media has launched a new upgraded version of the Mining Weekly iPhone application. This new version of the application offers iPhone users handy access to the news shaping the global mining industry – in real time, by region and by sector and in multimedia formats. The Mining Weekly iPhone application offers subscribers the following features:
- An updated user interface
- Geo-targeted news feeds for the Africa/Europe, for the Americas and for the Australasian region
- Access to back copies of the African and International editions of the Mining Weekly magazine
- Sector specific News Alerts
Additional banner advertising positions have also been introduced, offering companies the opportunity to expose their products and services to the application’s global audience.
Users of the previous version of the Mining Weekly iPhone application are advised that the new version is now available in the iTunes Store where it can be downloaded free of charge onto your iPhone. For full access to all features of the new Mining Weekly iPhone application, users will be required to make in-App auto-renewable subscriptions either on a weekly, monthly or annual basis.
For those who have already downloaded the old Mining Weekly iPhone application, this application will continue to work and continue be updated with news for the foreseeable future, but this application will no longer be available for download in the iTunes Store.
Currently, in the iTunes Store readers will find the new Mining Weekly iPhone application as well as the Mining Weekly e-magazine, which contains a weekly International edition of Mining Weekly for the iPad.
