Our Easy Access Chute concept was developed to reduce the risks related to liner maintenance.
Currently, replacing wear liners require that personnel must enter the inside of the structure to replace worn liners, which are fixed to the inside of the structure walls. During maintenance, all the associated equipment needs to be shut down, to allow for the entry of maintenance personnel. Entry into this space may require a confined space entry permit since this environment could be hazardous, with limited points to enter or exit. During maintenance, it is of critical importance that the system remains shut down, to prevent any potential injury to maintenance personnel inside of the structure. Working at heights is also a risk when personnel are working inside chutes.
The Easy Access Chute reduces these risks by eliminating people from working inside chutes and enabling them to replace liners from the outside of the chute in a more controlled environment.
